Brad has built a solar melter and an electric melter. The comb is placed into a bowl with a hole in the bottom filled with cheese cloth. It melts at 150 degrees. The results are chunks of wax that we make into candles.

My son came to see me on Father’s Day. He wanted to go into the hives. We opened a hive and his first instinct was to run. However he was a trooper and stayed helping pull frames and look at the bees.

Two more hives built and shipped. One to Virginia and the other to Colorado.
